This movie has got a bit of a messy story that takes off in all directions and doesn't really end up anywhere. It is a bit of a shame really, as several of the story lines have great potential. Furthermore, I have a hard time saying what the message in this movie really is. That is not entirely uncommon for a Tarantino movie, but here you kind of wished for some sort of morale, or at least some closure.

DiCaprio is a good actor. He plays his role as the declining movie star really well, and I ended up having a bit of sympathy for him at the end.
Brad Pitt is perfect in the role as the confident out of work stuntman. His style and general attitude towards life makes you like the guy right from the start. Amazing actor for a great role.
The purpose in the movie for the role played by Margot Robbie still eludes me. She seems super sweet, particularly the plotline where she goes to the movie theatre, but I did not find her real purpose for the overall movie. Some of the plot lines cross in the end, but this was not working well in my opinion.

Generally, for a Tarantino movie, there were very little stunts and bloody effects until the end. Here you finally get the classic dose of blood and gore splattering across the camera. As it was reduced to the final post it actually seems a bit misplaced - who would have thought?

If you like the extremely potential dialogues loaded with tons of every, which is a Tarantino classic, then there are some in this movie worth watching. It is also a good movie if you like DiCaprio or Pitt.

It is not an instant classic, and I was hoping for a bit more considering the cast and director.
