Not as good as the first one, but better than the second.

It seems like they are adding more and more action for each part of this series of Transformers movies. The robots are getting more and more advanced and their weapons have even more fire power. The CGI handling computer must have run on overdrive, to make all these crazy and wild effects. This is exciting but maybe getting a little bit over the top.

Another thing they keep adding is the feeling of a teenage comedy movie. There are points in the movie, where you get confused if you accidently walked in on the newest instalment in the American Pie series. This is really a sham in my opinion, and is what drags my review down a number.

It might be the character, but in my opinion Shia LaBeouf is still a bit too weak to play this part. At moments he manages to drag it up to average, but most of the time he is lolling about below the line.
Replacing Mega Fox was a bit disappointing, but choosing a Victoria's Secrets model in her stead was not a bad decision. Though her performance was not stunning her looks were and made up for it pretty well.
John Turturro and John Malkovich are both crazy nuts and crazy brilliant. Their performance gave the movie a well needed lift on the acting front.

If you liked the previous two Transformers movies, you should not miss out on this one. You should not watch it, if you have not yet watched the first in the series.
Watch it with a couple of sci-fi action fans on Blue Ray on a big screen with the volume on high. It is a blast!
