A sweet little chick flick. This is one of my wife's favorites, so I have seen it quite a few times. It is actually not that bad, and I would recommend it for any couple for an evening on the couch and would imagine it quite suited for a girl's night also. Jude Law is a good actor, which shows in this movie. Cameron Diaz plays a combination of her superpositive bubbely self a depressed workaholic, where the latter is something new for her. Her performance is from acceptable to good. Jack Black and Kate Winslet also delivers a decent performance. All good actors - well done. |
