This is a chick flick. Still, it has it's moments and I will have to admit that I have seen it more than once. It really does have a few fun moments.
The casting is perfect for the parts. I am very impressed how radical Zellweger is able to change her body, and who better to play the parts of Darcy and Cleaver? The acting is also good, but I suspect that is, except for great skill, due to a great script and tailor made characters.
The plot is very simple. There are not twists or surprises there, but that it not the point of the movie.
In time I believe this will become a classic and is definitely one to watch with your girlfriend.
