I really like this genre and type of movie, so I might be quite a bit biased.

A group of brilliant "Takers" robs banks and armoured trucks with incredible skill and sophistication while a hard-boiled cop tries to hunt them down. Classic plot with high potential - and this movie delivers!

The plot is simple and straight forward with a few twists and turns here and there. One of the things I like the most about this movie, is that we are allowed to see a heist that works out just at planned AND we also get to see the cops capture a few more or less unrelated bad guys before all the strings starts to tighten up. That is what I have been wishing for in the latest couple of this genre.

The team of Takers have a great dynamic which is acted out quite well. Matt Dillon is also the perfect anti-hero for a movie like this. You just cannot have any sympathy for this guy, but he still gets up every morning to make the world a little bit better. You will see what I mean, when you watch the movie.

There is a lot of gun fights, explosions etc. and they are all done well. I cannot complain there.

In general a movie right up my ally and I liked it a lot. Watch it with a friend so you will have someone to discuss the various aspects of planning a heist in your local area.
