Did not like it the first 30 min. No sympathy for any of the characters. Then the plan (and the entire plot of the film) started unfolding and everything changed. It was absolutely a well planned film, and you end up rooting for both sides. You do not want the movie to end, but then again, you do want to see how the story ends. Well done! Actors on both sides are great as well. |

One of the best heist movies ever! I came to think of this movie because of Clive Owen, which is a favorited acter =) And so I saw the movie again, and it might actually be even better the second time. The style of starting with the end and then start all over and tell the story is very good, and Spike Lee does a very good job with the rather complicated plot and twists along the way. The movie has some of the same simpleness as Phone Booth, while in the same time presenting great depth. A truly good experience! - Peter |
