Super awesome different weird movie. The thing I enjoyed the most about it was the beautiful compositions of each scene, each picture, each landscape, each close up... Really really mesmerising at times. Everything seemed so designed, intended and planned. Besides from that it's a kick ass story. It's been told before, but not through the life's of two young teenagers. Bruce Willis, Edward Norton, Bill Murray and Harvey Keitel(even with his rather small part) really added a lot of value to this wonderful film. At times the two kids'(Jared Gilman & Kara Hayward) acting skills seemed to falter, but then it seems so intentional and like it's on purpose to add to the awkward and weird mood of the movie. Really cute, funny and interesting movie, with fantastic take on romantic story telling. |
