Ballerina (2023) is a dark and somber film, definitely not one to lift your spirits. The story is thin, and the plot is pretty straightforward, with a few lazy cuts that push things forward but don’t hold up if you’re paying attention. That really made me lose interest. The ending is far too simple—essentially just, “and then everyone was killed, the end.”

I was hoping for something more—maybe a deeper emotional story or some visually stunning scenes—but it never delivered. Overall, it’s a below-average action movie, mainly due to the weak storytelling. Also, the entire movie is in Korean, so unless you’re fluent, subtitles are a must.
