I was hoping for a strong female character that did not give in to traditional English 1700s patriarchal society, but I was let down. This movie is all the way through a story about a woman submitting herself to the request of man in order to please him and gain his love. The best part of the movie is the litigation and what is said in that courtroom. Unless you are a major fan of Natalie Dormer, I would recommend that you find something else to watch. |
