Great sci-fi! It really makes me want to read the book. The entire story is centered around a competition in an online virtual reality world, and once you are presented with the object of that competition, you know how the plot for the rest of the movie is going to be rolled out. That does not matter, however, as it is still very well executed. They have done a great job of making the characters behind the avatars looks like very plain and “normal” people. I liked that. The going into the virtual reality online network is also done pretty well. I watched it on my 2D home theater system, which was great, but I imagine watching this one in 3D in a big movie theater would be fantastic. If you like sci-fi, this is a absolutely worth watching.
