Despite being quite a bit off scientifically, I really enjoyed the concept of this movie and find it rather interesting. Next generation human theories have always fascinated me. However as we got closer to the end, I think this theory was just thinning out. Changing and manipulating of matter just got too lame for me. In my opinion, I think they should have stuck with the extreme intelligence alone.
For me the ending was the worst part. It just got too American and very unnecessarily dramatic for my taste.

I think this was the first action movie for Scarlett Johansson featuring only her. She did a good job, and I think this movie will help her land several similar features in the future. Beside that she is her classically beautiful self.
Morgan Freeman is just as brilliant as always. He manages to leave room for Scarlett to remain the main character while still being amazing.

The effects in relation with Lucy's development are well done, and the stunts and effects are kept at a reasonable level. This movies clearly have the perfect Luc Besson touch.

So despite being more unrealistic than what I expected, I did still enjoy this movie quite a bit. Partly because of the theme and partly because of Scarlett.

If you are into low-tech sci-fi and human development, this is surely a movie for you.
