Gunfights, corrupt cops, murder, and drugs — this movie has it all. The story is great, with a super exciting plot that really pulls you in. You get hooked, then baffled, and before you know it, you are piecing the puzzle together, eager to see how it all fits. Good stuff! Keanu Reeves is perfect for this role. He plays a tenacious, hardboiled cop who just keeps pushing forward. My only issue is that he is not very convincing as an alcoholic. I have never been a big fan of Forest Whitaker, but he is a good choice for this role and delivers a solid performance. The fights, shooting, and stunts in general are well executed and add a lot to the movie’s intensity. If you are a fan of Keanu Reeves or just enjoy crooked cop action movies, this one is definitely worth watching. |
