Watching "The Killer" from 2023 was a thrilling experience that kept me on the edge of my seat from start to finish. The movie is all about suspense, suspense, and more suspense. It offers a brilliant walk-through of the mindset and meticulous preparation involved in a contract killer's work. The cold, calculated revenge plot is compelling, showcasing how the protagonist sticks to the plan and avoids letting emotions interfere, while still acknowledging their presence. It even made me consider starting yoga to achieve that level of mental control.

I do wish the film had shown a few successful hits before diving into the main story, as it would have added more depth to the character's expertise. However, the twist at the end, which initially left me disappointed for about 10 seconds, quickly revealed its brilliance, enhancing the overall experience.

Michael Fassbender is fantastic in the lead role, bringing a chilling yet fascinating portrayal of the killer. The dialogue with Tilda Swinton is remarkable, highlighting their intense and thought-provoking interactions.

The stunts and effects are toned down to a perfectly fitting level, making the movie feel more grounded and realistic.

I might actually watch it again to catch more details and appreciate the nuances I may have missed the first time. "The Killer" is a masterclass in suspense and a must-watch for fans of the genre.
