The story is the well-known one, which one remembers from the old film from 1971 (Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory) and loads of cartoons. I know I should love this movie, just like everyone else. But I just can not. It's awful to look at - the colors and characters are so exaggerated that it goes from being exciting and fun, to just plain annoying. Maybe it should remain a musical and appear on a stage. |
