Wonder Woman

Great “origins” movie.

Before I start, I have to admit that I never read any of the comic books or seen the original tv series, so my opinion of this movie may be a bit off compared to someone who has actually read the comic books or seen the original series.

It is an interesting story. I was hoping for more of contemporary time scenes. But as this movie has become a great hit across the globe, I guess we will get to see more of her, and hopefully the next installment will be the modern times spy movie the rumors are talking about.

In classic DC style, the movie just builds up and goes totally bananas as the end with major explosions, hellfire all around and pointed sharp objects flying everywhere. I know this is a superhero action movie, and stuff like that is to be expected, but for me it was just over the top and the result is one less star in my rating of the movie. My favorite action sequence from this one is when they are fighting the germans in the trenches. It is still pretty violent and extreme but in my opinion not over the top and they should more or less have kept this style all throughout the movie..
