A team of money couriers transferring large sums of cash in armored truck plan a heist, but something goes wrong. Who will get the loot?

This is a fairly simple action plot. The plan, they execute, something unexpected happens and everything goes south. There is nothing new about this, and every turn of events can be predicted during the first 15 minutes of the movie. This is another one of the movies, where you are left thing that it would be interesting to see what would happen if they for once would get away with it. Well... maybe next time.

The cast for the team is highly decorated with fairly good actors. E.g. Jean Reno from Leon (one of my favorite movies), Laurence Fishburne from The Matrix, Amaury Nolasco from Prison Break and Milo Ventimiglia from Heroes. They are all quite believable in their roles as hard boiled security crew and a you policeman. One of the main characters is played by Matt Dillon and for some reason, I just can't take him serious since I saw him in One Night at McCools. That is unfortunate, because his performance in this movie is pretty decent. I have a hard time figuring out whether it is the role he is playing or it is his personality, that makes Columbus Short a bit bleak in this movie, despite him playing the main character.

The special effects for this movie is kept pretty much toned down. I prefer that in a movie like this, as it lets you focus on the characters instead. One thing that struck me though, which I think is very lame actually, is the screeching of tires no matter what speed they are traveling at and what surface they are driving on. Come on, you can do better than that!

In general a good movie with no surprises but good acting. I would recommend it for a day with a hangover from a great night out with the guys.
