Jake Gyllenhall is all up in my top 5 of best actors, but this didn't help his ranking! I mean it not just the peaks of an actors carrier that makes him. It's very much also his decisions in which movies to take part, and this was a poor choice! It's supposed to a movie "from" the team that did Pirates of the Carribean, you can tell that by the effects and the humor, but since I'm not a big fan of those things in PoC it did not do much for me. Secondly they are tampering with one of my all time favorite Computer Games IP's and also f's that up a bit, why go make the story so generic!? And tell a story that has been told enormous times before? Well any way. Could have lived with out this one and hope they do not decide to go make sequels… [guess one of the five was for the looks of Gemma Arterton =)] P.s. hated the fact that most men in the Persian empire were white and spoke british english… What's up? |
