It is not really a good movie, but it still it sort of a cult classic and the CGI, even though pretty obvious, is not half bad. I was entertained, but not particularly impressed.

Being a big fan of the Vikings series, I was really looking forward to see how Travis Fimmel would perform in a move. Unfortunately I was let down by his performance, but I am suspecting that this might be caused by poor writing and not lack of skill. His style and role was somewhat similar to the role of Ragnar Lothbrok, which was a bit confusing.
Paula Patton had a big role to play, and I think that under the circumstances she did it well. Her character, however, seemed very silly - an orc cursed to have a human-like size. But why?
Ben Foster playing the Guardian seemed weak in my eyes, but again this might be due to poor writing.

In general a very limited story, but that was as I expected. There were traced of a few attempts to twist the plot, but it was not executed that well and did not have the desired effect, I believe.

Overall a movie slightly below average. I am pretty sure that if you enjoy the world of Warcraft created by Blizzard, then you will at least fint it entertaining and worth spending an evening on.
