Defendor, Kick-Ass and Super… Movies about super heroes as that they kind of could be IRL. I like the concept of different take on the super hero genre. But of the three mentioned I think the others are better movies. This has a twist to it, as in having the humor of kick-ass meets Juno but then the effects(blood, action, explosions) has a mix of Saw meets Punisher: Warzone. It gets weird once and a while in the movie. First laughing then looking away because of gore and pity. If you like Kick-Ass and Defendor or comics and super heroes, you should see this. P.s. Nice cast with Nathan Fillion, Ellen Page and Kevin Bacon |
