Funny, silly, lame, entertaining and interesting are my key words for this movie. The plot is based on a classic paradox regarding time travel - The Butterfly Effect. Despite my personal disbelief of time travel, the concept have always interested me anyway, and this movie deals the some of the problems in a light and funny way. I have always liked John Cusack, and he does a good job here as well. Rob Corddry is brilliant at playing the drunken bastard that no one likes. I was expecting a bit more "soul" from Craig Robinson, as his character Nick Webber is/becomes a great musician. Clark Duke performance is weak, but I guess that matches his character. I still think he could have done a better job. Crispin Glover is scary!! In general a funny but a bit think comedy movie. Watch it with someone who likes the style of the 80's, if you want a good laugh. |
