A dark story (goes with the title, right?) that works really well despots being very simple. The plot is very exciting and constantly keeps questioning whether or not you are able to predict what is going to happen next. This makes the movie very thrilling.
Natalie Dormer is brilliant in her role and actually rather believable as a blind person. Jan Bijvoet is not good enough for the role as the main bad guy, in my opinion. Ed Skrein does a decent job.
Aside from being a rather exciting it is also a very beautiful movie. The imagery build up around this beautiful blind girl is just appealing to me.
If you enjoy beautiful movies with a plot that suddenly develops exponentially this one is recommendable.
