Not as good as the first one, way better than the second, same level as the third - and I am looking forward to the next.
Easy thin plot but still classic. Humans now fight the lycans and the vampires, and research is being done on "live" (undead?) subjects, but who is behind it all?
Kate Beckinsale convinced me with her performance in the first movie in the series, and I have been hooked (on her?) since. She does another good performance in this movie, but some of the sombre and cold hearted persona have gone. I know it is part of the plot, but I still miss it.
The rest of the crew does a fairly standard good performance. I recently saw Theo James in The Inbetweeners Movie, so it was hard not to imagine him with a smug grin and a brown spot on his nose, but he actually pull off a good performance in this movie.
If you liked any of the other movies in this series, you should see it. If you like Kate Beckinsale in a tight latex suit, you should really see it. If you like vampire movies, but cannot stand the sparkling kind, this is way better!
