The sequel to The Mummy, with bigger effects but worse plot.
The same mid-grade actors star in this one, which gives a plus on recognition scale but minus on the quality scale.
The plot is more or less the same - same guy gets resurrected and tries to take over the world while a goofy British treasure hunter and his librarian wife tries to foil the ploy.
Adding "The Rock" as the Scorpion King is a nice touch, but the computer animation of him later in the movie is a joke. They would have gotten a better result using prosthetics and make up, in my opinion. In general all the effects have been cranked up to 11, which is about 3 above what I think the movie can bear. Sometimes Less is More...
