Fairly entertaining comedy for the whole family. Russell Brand does a good job at playing a "son-of-wealth". The strong British accent, the facial expressions and his whole attitude adds quite well to it. Not bad. Helen Mirren is a brilliant actor, and even though her part in this movie is quite tuned down, she still does a god job. Greta Gerwig plays a quite quirky girl, and I suspect that this if not far from her real life personality. But what do I know? Jennifer Garner is not a great actor, but she is very pretty, and that makes up for it. Nick Nolte seriously looks like an old washed up bum. In a way he has always done that, I guess... Watch this if you and some easy laughs with a good friend or significant other. It is not deep, it is not art, it is just comedy. |
