Very very good idea for a story, and the fact that it does not take place in the US is a bonus. I mean we see so many movies centered around the US, that one can get tired of it. And just by moving location to England, Europe, the movie gets an edge. Clive owen does a good job along with Caine and Moore. It's not a cheerful movie at all, but the original idea for future that features a world gone and going further into hell, is great.

It's more of a drama than an action movie, but there's still some impressive war scenes in the movie. In one of the end scenes there's an almost 10 minuttes sequence with Owen trying to escape through a war zone, and for the whole 10 minuttes they do not cut one single time. Which is rather impressive considering the amount of people involved in the scene.

Very good sci-fi!
