Movie reviews for Green Zone

Great movie about the U.S. invasion of Iraq.
I wrongfully understood that this was a movie about defusing diverse bombs in Iraq - I was wrong. It is far more political and presents some very interesting views of how to start a war based on nothing solid and how to maintain the public approval during actions that are not fully legit.
It is an interesting movie, but a bit too long with too little action for my personal taste.

2010-03-22  Peter Buchardt: 6 out of 10
I had pretty high expectations for this movie. I watched the trailer a ferw times, and really really expected something much recempeling the Bourne Supremacy and Umtimatum.
BUT it was not like any of those. Much more similiar to Black Hawk Down and Three Kings. It based on "a true story" and tells of why the US army went into Iraq to look for the Weapons of Massdestruction.
The effects was over the top, almost lidt watching someone play 2-3 missions in Modern Warfare 2, just better resoluation hehe

But again I was hoping for Matt Damon being a one man ary against the world, and that is not the case. If your'e into war themed movies and like the special effects, go hit a cinema near you soon =)
