Exciting story. Even though you have seen it a hundred times before, you still want to believe it. It is the classic with a couple of cops that are being treated wrong by a boss who does not deserve to be in his position. They want to make up for the mistreatment, and this entrails a lot of challenges. The plot does have a sharp twist in the end - just you wait and see. Both Mel Gibson and Vince Vaughn did a great job. Both are sort of type casted for the roles I guess. The bad guys are far less impressive, and not at all memorable to say the least. In general the action scenes are well done, but the blood spatter is a bit excessive, in my opinion. They kind of remind me of a Tarantino movie. Generally a pretty good movie. However, the ending ruined it for me. They could have ended it in a number of different ways, but in my opinion they chose the wrong one. I was let down in the final 15 mins. |
