What a Bad Ass movie!! I really enjoyed this movie. It is humorous and still filled with some good action. It is loosely based on a similar situation on a local bus with a Vietnam veteran beating up some who is acting up. Go to YouTube and search for "Epic Beard Man" for the original. The plot is a simple "cleaning up this town"-model, but Danny Trejo portraying this older guy being a vigilante combined with a sense of humour works really well. The fight are good and most of the cast it good. Some of the smaller parts acts a bit annoying, but for this kind of movie, it is acceptable. Watch it on a night where you need some action and a few laughs. It is bad ass, but house broken. |
