Has great potential, but fails to set it self free from boring concepts like "let's get the band together" scenes of which there's simply too many.
I feel the movie is well made, but poorly executed and I can't exactly put my finger on it, but it felt boring and I ended up falling asleep.

I recently watched Rebel Moon - Part One: A Child of Fire, and to be honest, I didn’t like it very much. The story was pretty simple and the plot was straightforward, but it felt like it suffered from very poor writing. None of the actors really stood out for me, and most of their performances were below average. Though, to be fair, it's hard to judge the acting when the writing didn’t give them much to work with.

The world itself was decent, but nothing fantastic. Some of the non-human characters just seemed out of place and, frankly, a little ridiculous. It was hard to take certain scenes seriously because of how odd and out of touch those creatures felt.

The stunts and effects were also disappointing. It felt like I was watching a classic B-movie with second-rate action and visuals. Overall, while there were moments of potential, I found the film lacking in almost every department. I expected more and was left feeling underwhelmed.
