I found myself  slightly underwhelmed by its pretty basic plot and lack of surprises. As expected from a superhero movie, the story followed a predictable path, offering little in the way of unexpected twists or turns.

While I'm a fan of Tom Hardy as an actor, I couldn't help but feel frustrated by Eddie Brock as a weak character. It was a bit of a disappointment and reduced my overall enjoyment of the film.
Woody Harrelson delivered a standout performance as the serial killer, injecting the film with a much-needed dose of menace.

I found myself increasingly annoyed by Venom's characterization, which seemed to lean into a foolish and even bordering on slapstick type of humor. It became a source of frustration as the story progressed.

Additionally, the special effects failed to impress me. Despite moments of visual spectacle, I found myself underwhelmed by the overall quality, with several instances leaving me feeling less than impressed.

In conclusion, "Venom: Let There Be Carnage" fell short of my expectations. While it had its moments, particularly in terms of performances, the weak characterizations, predictable plot, and less than impressive effects left much to be desired. It's a film that may appeal to die-hard fans of the Venom charater, but for me, it failed to leave a lasting impression.
