Is this a Best Motion Picture at the Oscars? I think not, and do not understand why it is nominated. Is this a great Marvel action movie? Absolutely!
Even though there is very little story in this movie, and the plot is extremely obvious, I still enjoyed the ride and was entertained all the way through.

Chadwick Boseman is good as Black Panther. He is regal yet humble.
I am not a big fan of Michael B. Jordan, who is playing Killmonger, which may affect my judgement of his performance.
I am, on the other hand, a big fan of Andy Serkis, and I liked his character as Klaue. I wish that had a bigger role.

The effects a standard impressive Marviel quality. Nothing new there. The scenery, however, was just amazing! It makes perfect sense that this movie is also nominated for a best production design. It is really well put together in a beautiful set of pictures with great music. I streamed this in my home theater, and I would recommend nothing less. You really do need a big screen for such amazing pictures!

In general a very good and recommendable Marvel movie. It is not among the best in the series, but absolutely worth watching.

It really do not get, how a country clinging to old traditions and doctrines accepts that an outsider, which Killmonger basically is, puts up a challenge out of line, and then accepts and effectuate the result “because we have to stick to tradition and doctrines”. That is just stupid!
