"Wakanda Forever" delivers a decent narrative that builds upon the success of its predecessor, "Black Panther." The film explores themes of heritage, responsibility, and the clash between tradition and progress. The storytelling is thought-provoking, touching upon real-world issues that is a testament to the skillful direction of Ryan Coogler. The cast of "Wakanda Forever" delivers acceptable performances, with Letitia Wright and Lupita Nyong'o reprising their roles as Shuri and Nakia, respectively. The introduction of new characters, such as Namor the Sub-Mariner, adds depth and excitement to the narrative, but Tenoch Huerta, the actor playing Namor, seems vacant in his performance. The visual effects in the movie are breathtaking, showcasing the vibrant and technologically advanced world of Wakanda. From the bustling streets to the epic battle sequences, the attention to detail and stunning visuals are a feast for the eyes. The action scenes are expertly choreographed, highlighting the agility and strength of the Wakandan warriors. While "Wakanda Forever" is a worthy successor to "Black Panther," it does have some minor pacing issues. It is 2 hours and 40 minutes long, and at times I felt detract from the overall impact and enjoyment of the film. I just like them shorter, I guess. The movie successfully pays tribute to the late Chadwick Boseman, honoring his portrayal of T'Challa, while expanding the world of Wakanda. It serves as a fitting and powerful tribute to his legacy and the enduring power of the Black Panther franchise. Overall, "Wakanda Forever" delivers decent storytelling, acceptable performances, and stunning visual effects. Despite some minor pacing issues, the film successfully continues the legacy of "Black Panther" and leaves a lasting impact on audiences.
