Great stoner movie, that has a really great story, just beneath the surface. At first you can't decide whether it is a comedy or tragic movie, but just a few minutes ind, you get the idea that something bigger is at play.
The plot of a first time summer love is classic, but really well told, and the cast seems perfect for their parts. You have no problem empathizing for the drug dealing young kid Luke, through the roller coaster that teenage love is.
The music set for the movie is very good, and gets all the hip-hop/rap summer hits for the year 1994, plus a great set of classic rock hits. The fact that it plays a big part of the movie and works really well, just makes the movie a bit better.
I like movies that moves me, and this one did.
