The story is pretty decent, and the setup for the plot is clever enough, yet it severely lacks plausibility, which drags it all down by the end. There are just too many unlikely happenstances to maintain any kind of actual flow. And what the heck is up with that weird segment involving the child molesters? That stuff was so incredibly creepy and should, beyond any doubt, have been left out of the movie!
Paul Walker did a good job playing the hardboiled action hero. I think he was good throughout the movie. Cameron Bright and Alex Neuberger both did pretty well, considering they were just kids.
The movie is packed with various kinds of action. Lots of fighting and even more shooting. It is all done rather well and tightly packed together.
If you like an action movie with a twisted plot, where the most unlikely outcome is often the case and it ends up with everybody beating up or shooting everybody, then you might like this one. I was not entirely convinced, particularly during the last half, which caused me to drop my rating below average. I give it five out of ten.
