I have been into computers and fascinated by security and hacking ever since I was a kid, so when I watched this movie back in the early 90s I was hooked right away. I have watched it several times since and recently I watched it again, as it popped up on one of my streaming services. I still love the movie event though the effects and the acting seems a bit silly today.
The plot follows a simple line with an introduction, a setup, and a series of twists, turns, and challenges to get to a suitable ending. You know the road, but the way is not without bumps.

Robert Redford, playing the lead role of Mart, does a decent job. He is a good actor.
Dan Aykroyd, playing the character Mother, is another really good actor. You can almost sense that his role cannot contain his talents.
I am a big fan of Sir Ben Kingsley. His acting is a bit stiff and weird here, but I suspect that is completely intentional. It works well at least.

It is an old movie, but it is still pretty good. If you like hacker movies from the 90s, I am pretty sure you will find this one to your liking.
