This was a great action banger!
When reading about the movie and to some extent also watching the trailer, you get introduced to a story with so much potential. I mean, how great would be to follow a character in modern society, that has lived for more than 2000 years! Unfortunately they do not deliver. The plot is predictable, and the focus of the story is only on something that brings the amazing team of immortals out of balance. That is just a shame.
As always, I wish they had included a couple more "regular" operations before the botched one. Also the surprise twist in the end… (avoiding spoiler). You just know this is going to happen, and when it did, I just wished that it did not.
I obviously want more movies in this series, but that was too silly.

The acting was in general mediocre. I guess it is never easy to be playing a role of a sullen and tight-lipped character. Charlize Theron is decently good, when her character does say something, but mostly she just seems moody. KiKi Layne, who is playing this young second star of the movie, does an acceptable job. She is a bit weak, but I think she has potential for something more. Just give her a few more movies. The guy playing Merrick is creepy as hell. His name is Harry Melling by the way.

The effects are classic modern action movie style. Lots of stunts and guns firing.

I think this movie could have been a lot better. The story had so much potential, but it was just nok executed well enough. It is a decent action movie, but that is unfortunately all.
