Well… it is an interesting story. I like the concept for the jumpers and all, but for me this quickly turned into too much of a teenage movie, but maybe I am just an old fart really?

The overall plot was pretty decent, but the ending was quite a bit thin despite trying to be dramatic.

In general the acting was quite poor all across the plate, except for Samuel Jackson. He is strong as ever despite having a dialed down bad guy role. With a weak cast like this, I think it was a huge mistake to bring such a strong actor in.

The “jump”-effects were rather well done and some of the jumps look pretty good in my home theater. It is worth watching the movie in high definition.

Watch this movie if you like movies about super powers and/or teenage movies.
