Funny but not that fun. The plot is very simple, and once you are told what the movie is about you completely know how everything will end. In many ways this movie reminded me of a hybrid between Men in Black and the first Blade movie. I am a big fan of both Jeff Bridges and Ryan Reynolds, and their persona is what makes this movie bearable. Moderate action and a few fun visual effects on the 'deadoes'. I do think that the primary evil menace (who's name I shall not mention to avoid spoilers) was way too recognizable after he 'popped'. I guess that was too preserve the look of the actor. I am glad that I have seen the movie, but still cannot help the feeling that I wasted an evening doing so. Ohh… and one piece of advice; relax body. |
