This has an acceptable story, but the plot is boring, straight and predictable. Combined with bad writing, painfully awkward dialogue and poor acting across the entire cast, it never manages to become engaging. The first part of the movie feels like a typical B rated action movie, but as it gets closer to the auction, which serves as the final showdown, the quality drops significantly to an almost appalling level. The cast is not particularly dazzling, but with writing this poor there is very little they can do to impress. I mainly found this movie because I wanted to see more of Ruby Rose, but her role is very small and she has only a handful of lines, most of which are weighed down by weak dialogue. The fights and stunts are mediocre and about what I would expect from a B rated action movie of this kind. Overall, this is simply not worth the time it took to finish. I would recommend finding something else to watch. I would rate it three out of ten. |
