Brilliant comedy murder mystery! Most parts of the story are obvious, but I still felt entertained throughout the movie.
Mortdecai is a brilliant character and I think Johnny Depp is perfect for the role.
Gweneth Paltrow is fantastic as a headstrong woman sorting everything out on her own. She is also very beautiful.
Paul Bettany, playing Jock, is another one of my favourite actors. Not because he is particularly talented. I just enjoy his general demeanour, which is very distinct in this role.
The movie is recommendable if you enjoy a light murder mystery, but do not expect too much of it.
Bonus side note: my current character in our WFRP game is based on the character Mortdecai. I am having great fun playing him while imagining him based on this movie.
