Well, we all know what this movie not is ... the first Blade Runner! But what it did have, that made this a great movie for me, was foremost a decent plotline accompanied by well-made scenery, the classic blade-runner-slow and melancholic pase.
I was entertained and got emmersed, and although the acting were not that great, it did not ruin anything for me.

Interesting story. It has a plot that suddenly takes a turn and slightly less elegantly loops back onto itself. Maybe it is also too obvious really? The story is centered around K and his investigation and lack of knowledge. Therefore there is a significant amount of the story, that we just do not get. This is a pity, I think, because the is a great potential in hearing the origin for all that, I think.
The mood is very melancholy, which fits well with the original movie. The is also the most typical set of facial expressions in any movie featuring Ryan Gosling, so the match is perfect. Other than that, I think his acting was fairly good. Harrison Ford is great as ever. Jared Leto is portraying Wallace, whom just confused me.
Effects and the massive amount of CGI was well done.
Recommended for a big screen. I streamed it in my home theater and was pretty amazed by the pictures at several occasions.
