Decent plot, goofy acting and extremely impressive action scenes!

The overall story is quite good and though you know how it is going to end up, there are several interesting twists on the way to get there. It works pretty well.

In my eyes the acting is very silly and over dramatic spiced up with just a bit too much slapstick humor for my liking, but I am no expert on Chinese movies, so I have no basis of judging if this is normal or not. In my opinion it is a bit over the top.

What is really impressive is all the manny manny fighting sequences. The amount of coordination that had to go into all this must be enormous. I was very impressed when several of the scenes just kept going and going with countless foes in numerous settings. Extremely impressive!

I watched the english dubbed edition of the movie (the only one my current streaming service provided), so all dialogue was out of sync and I guess a lot of the puns were lost in the translation.

If you like kung fu movies this is really something special with all the spectacular fights.
