Classic Arnie action!

The plot is fairly standard; one happy family, something bad happens, the father wants revenge, apparently it is even more serious than first thought, the hero prevails in the end. Nothing new but it works. You are entertained throughout the movie, but do not expect to be overly thrilled with unbearable excitement.

I must say that I was surprised how good Arnie was acting - not that it was good, but I remember him as worse. Maybe being Governator actually thought him something after all.
I have never liked Cliff Curtis, and in this movie I would say his performance is below average. I was not convinced. On the other hand Francesca Neri surprised me quite positively. She really does a good job playing her particular role here.

Effects are classic brain dead action - *BOOM* *BOOM*, lots of fire, guns blazing, tyres screeching etc. They are definitely set on high, but not over the top for this kind of movie.

If you like (new) Arnie, action, revenge or similar, this is a movie for you. It is classic action, nothing more but also nothing less.
