Wauw! What an amazing story. The plot line is a bit hard to follow but incredible nonetheless. I think that this movie requires a re-watch in order to fully understand and appreciate the big picture.

The acting is very well done in general.
DiCaprio and Gordon-Levitt are both brilliant in this one.
The effects within the dreams are very nicely done. The surreal, which most dreams truly are, is nicely depicted.

As always, I wish we would have seen a few normal extraction operations before the inception, but I guess the movie was long enough as it was.

If you like surreal and philosophical movies combined with some solid action, then this movie is perfect for you.

A movie with a plot not seen before? That's not to often you see that, and it's greatly appreciated when you do!

Have in mind that the story and plot of this movie is way more complex than the average Hollywood movie, but I guess that's what makes it a great movie. You wanna go back in and explore more of this sci-fi future where thought-theft is a concept used for industry espionage.

I'm a bit biased since DiCaprio is one of my favorite actors and he sure pulls it off in this one again.

The visuals are very appealing and mind blowing, but I think that there's a few lacks between what is described as the potentiel of the dream-traveling described in the movie and the use of in the movie. For instance they talk a lot about building mazes as levels/platforms for the dreams they enter, but at no point the maze-architecture is used for anything important, and frankly that some of these dreams destinations is mazes seems like a vague excuse.

Also this seems like a movie that could worked great without incorporating the action genre, since the thriller aspect works so great and the action seems to an excuse to have gun fights...

Any way, great movie, with a bit more potentiel than ended up shining through...
