Warning: I love Marvel, Super Heros and Action! What this movie does perfect in my opinion is to mix comedy, action and 'super hero'-lore into a brilliant, widely entertaining movie. It's definitely on my top 3 Super Hero Movie list... Any way the movie still has flaws. First of all it's a very predictable plot. Secondly the lack of fantasy from the script writer is disturbing. Why is it that Hulk has to fight a Hulk-like monster in both Hulk movies and why does Iron Man has to fight another guy in a robot suit? The Marvel Univers has so many cool villains, and then they choose the most borring ones. It's a cool movie for Marvel fans especial the ones the likes cross overs, since there's tons of cross reference material in the movie. Captain America, Nick Fury, Roxxo, Stan Lee etc... Any way I saw this movie back in the days and saw it again now just before going to the theater to see Iron Man 2, and that actually worked very well, nice combo. They compliment each other very well! |
