Vary amusing parody on the American way of policing the world. Made by the team behind Southpark, really gives a political and satirical view of how an anti-terrorist group could save the world by blowing stuff up. The facts that the writes does not like the Hollywood package clearly shines through when the actors guild is presented and various celebrities are either shot or blown to pieces. Quite funny. I am definitely not a fan of puppet movies, but this one is done really well, and without any CGI actually manages to make an impressive range of special effects - with puppets! The DVD contains a lot of very interesting extra material that is recommendable. I saw it, just after I saw the movie, and then I have to see the movie once more, just to spot all the scenes they explained in the material. Very nice! I believe this would become a classic movie in time, so you might as well watch it now. |
