I was eagerly awaiting "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania," but unfortunately, it left me rather disappointed. The movie ventures into some seriously weird and spacey territory, which, ordinarily, I'd appreciate in a film. However, this time around, it felt absurd and somewhat lacking in substance. The movie's main issue might be its lack of a coherent and engaging story. What compounds this issue is the film's extended runtime. Clocking in at a considerable length just above 2 hours, it's like one of those frustrating nightmares where you're giving it your all, but you're not getting anywhere. Despite the efforts of the talented cast and the potential of the characters, it feels like the plot is spinning its wheels rather than driving the story forward. All in all, I'd rate "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania" a 5 out of 10. While it has moments of entertainment and some interesting visuals, the lack of a cohesive story and the sense of spinning in place made it a rather frustrating experience for me. |
