Easygoing action entertainment. I like the style of the movie, being a sort of fancy-british-secret-agent kind of style, however, I think the style in the first movie was a bit more clear. The plot in this one was a bit too simple, but that is to be expected of this kind of movie I guess. I just wish that it was a bit more diverging.

There are a lot of fine actors in this movie. Colin Firth and Mark Strong, Channing Tantum and Pedro Pascal, Jeff Bridges and Elton John, Halle Berry and Julianne Moore just to name the ones on the top of my head. The lead role is played by Taron Egerton whom I have yet to see in another movie to really judge his skill level. He does play a decent Kingsman.

The high concentration of action requires a lot of effects and a lot of stunts. Some of these scenes defy the basic rules of physics, which for me always is a thorne in the eye. They are mostly decent and especially the hand to hand combat situations are fun to watch.

Overall an acceptable action entertainment movie. If you liked the first one, you might like this one as well. It is recommendable if you want to kill time with light entertainment and some action without ever getting too serious.
