Very simple yet interesting concept.
It is hard to discuss the story without giving any spoilers away. There is very little story, once you figure it out, but the plot suddenly takes a twist at the same point. That is pretty neat!

The idea with the nanobots and the biohacking is less original, and maybe simplified in order to fit the plotline. Unfortunately it also makes it a bit stupid.

Vin Diesel is a perfect human tank. His acting skills are perfected for delivering an angry, superhuman, ass-kicking killer machine seeking revenge. Guy Pearce is also a good choice for his role.

The effects look like a big Hollywood action movie. Lots of gunfire and explosions. The close ups of the nanobots, however, looks rather stupid. The scale is completely off.

If you like big action bangers or just enjoy watching a superhuman soldier ripping everything apart, this is a good way to kill time.
