Brilliant and amazing movie. The main crew of actors, DeNiro, Pacino, and Pesci, are nothing less than fantastic! The story is both scary and fascinating. It is based on real life, and I do not think that they have over-dramatized it one bit. These guys were tough as nails. After the movie ended my streaming provider suggested that I watched a short clip with the three main actors and the director Martin Scorsese where that talk about the movie and how they got into their role etc. Absolutely worth watching if you also liked the movie. If you like gangster movies, American historical movies or movies themed around the American unions, then this is a highly recommended one. Leo in mind though, that it is more than three and a half hours long. |
